Hurtigruten AS is one of Norway’s largest tourism businesses – and the world’s largest, and leading, within expedition travels.
The company has an annual turnover of 4 billions NOK, 2600 employees, 200 apprentices, and operates 14 custom made expedition ships in Norwegian and international waters.
They are best know for their legendary route along the Norwegian coastline, which have given the company its name. 11 vessels are in continuous route, with daily departures between Bergen and Kirkenes. In total, each vessel have 34 port calls on their route.
In addition to this, the company operates a range of expedition vessels in Antarctica, South America, Caribbean, Amazon, Canada, Greenland, Iceland and Svalbard, among others. In 2018 and 2019 Hurtigruten will launch the worlds two most advanced expedition vessels, MS Roald Amundsen and MS Fridtjof Nansen.
Hurtigruten AS has been a member of GRESS-gruppen since 1. of January 2007. The agreement with Hurtigruten AS applies to Hurtigruten AS, with an opening for use by any subsidiaries.
